My girls are TWO!!

Well, August has come and gone (almost) and Anna and Emma are now two years old. It is hard to believe that it has already been two years but at the same time, it is hard to believe that it has only been two years. It is hard to remember when they weren't here.

Well, enough with the sap, and on with the pics!!

Since their birthday was in the middle of the week, we celebrated by letting them open their present from Momma and Daddy. We put it together the night before and while they were eating breakfast put it in their room with a blanket covering it. They pulled the blanket off and found their kitchen!! Anna kept saying, "WOW!!"


The kitchen has been a hit! They play with it all the time.

Anna and Emma's birthday party was at the park. There is a big gazebo with picnic tables there. Me and Brandon put tableclothes and balloons on the tables. I spent a lot of time making these Sesame Street characters out of posterboard and there wasn't really any good places to hang them. For games/activities the kids made fruit loop necklaces and played an Oscar trash can toss game. Everyone had lots of fun and the babies got lots of fun presents. I think their favorite (ie, the one they fight over the most) is the little plastic shopping cart that they got from Regan, Riley and Reece.

I'm not going to post any pics from the party. Unfortunately, they all turned out really dark and only a few of them have my kids in them.
