Halloween Carnival

Me, Brandon, and the girls' Nanna and Poppa took them to a little Halloween carnival at the hospital yesterday. I'm never sure if things like that are going to turn out to be a total disaster or not, especially since they have been a little sick and had not had a nap.

They had so much fun! They played games like picking ducks out of the pond, but what they really wanted to do was get in the pond! They threw bean bags, but they most enjoyed the limbo game. They ran back and forth under it. Next was the haunted house. It was very tame, no one jumping out or anything. Anna loved it. Emma got a little scared when we got to a lighted bat and pumpkin. Anna wasn't scared at all, until we got to a gurney, I guess she didn't see the foot hanging off of it at first, because when she did she jerked back on my hand and gasped!!

Probably the most fun was the cake walk, which for my girls should be renamed the cake dance!! They giggled and bopped their way around until finally Emma won us a cinnamon apple bread!

Here is a picture of the four of us at the carnival. They took it and printed it for us there and had a table set up to make a frame. We passed on the frame.

Can't you tell, Heather?? :) They are wearing their cookie monster and elmo costumes, but both refused to keep the head part on.
